Split Screen of James and Stormberg (Evaluation Activity 2)
The character I have chosen to represent our film is our main antagonist (James Hill) and the alternative character I have chosen is Stromberg (the main antagonist from "The Spy Who Loved Me").
Both characters have many similarities in multiple areas of filming production, for example, as you can see from the image above, both characters have a sinister look on their face which, like James bond, our film has a main antagonist and a main protagonist. Throughout our film, the characters also both wear plain conspicuous clothing to clearly represent to the audience that they are the villains. You may notice that when both characters speak they have a sinister Eastern European accent- this is to add to the stereotype; usually the main antagonist is foreign and the Eastern European accent conforms the stereotype.
However the two characters also have a few differences between them. The first one being obvious with the age gap between the two characters. This could connote that because Stormberg is more intelligent than James due to him being older and would have more experience. Another difference would be that in our film James only has two bodyguards (Graham Burgess & Patrick Cowley) where as Stromberg has a whole team working for him- this suggests that Stromberg is more powerful compared to James as he looks more influential and that is shown by the size of his team compared to James's two bodyguards.
