I used this tutorial to speed up a part of my film to create a fast paced effect and make it seem like the audience are rushing down to the characters. I used this in the opening scene when the camera quickly pans down to the characters on the ground. I clicked the time stretch tool and then cut the clip to speed it up and shorten the original clip.

 

    I used this tutorial to slow down one of the scenes to give a dramatic effect as the opening was coming to an end. I used this in the edning scene when the climax comes to a close. I again used the time stretch tool but instead of cutting the clip I extended it and created a slow motion effect.
